Let us introduce you to Ava Marie and Leah Rose Clements, two adorable identical twins with almost 1.5million Instagram followers. Since turning seven in July 2017, they have had an Instagram account which their mother Jacqui opened on their behalf. With their fan base growing at a rapid rate, it’s no wonder they have been named “the most beautiful twins in the world”.
Aside from their Instagram fame, they are also signed to two agencies, and are fast-storming the children’s modeling scene. Utilizing their striking looks and outgoing personalities, the Los Angeles-based Clements sisters have already secured kid’s fashion campaigns and magazine shoots.
Some may deem modeling fame overwhelming for young kids, but their mom asked their permission first, and they both jumped at the chance.
Their rise to Instagram stardom and becoming the industry’s most-demanded children’s models, is not your typical story. Read on for more facts about the Clements twins’ journey to success.
Premature Birth
The charming Clements twins couldn’t wait 9 months to come into the world, arriving 4 and a half weeks premature; which seems fitting as according to their mom, they’re full of surprises.
Beautiful Babies
Even as babies, Ava Marie and Leah Rose’s beauty was evident. Passers-by would stop Jacqui and compliment her on her beautiful, twin daughters.
Give it a Try
After the suggestions and compliments of many, Jacqui decided to register the girls when they were 6 months old to an LA-based agency.
Bad Timing
However, after three months of attempts, Jacqui decided it was bad timing and chose to focus on the twins’s upbringing with their two-year old brother.
Their Personalities Developed
As the gorgeous girls grew, so did their personalities. They both developed a penchant for performing, dancing in front of anyone willing to watch.
Try Again
Six years later, after seeing their personalities and confidence develop through dancing and swimming lessons, Jacqui decided to ask the girls if they would like to try modeling. The twin sisters were smart and she knew they could make the decision for themselves. Their answer was a resounding yes! That marked the moment their modeling careers began.
Lucky 7
Despite some people disbelieving coincidences, you cannot deny the significance of the lucky number 7 for the sisters. Ava Marie and Leah Rose were both born on the 7th of July (7/7); and their big breakthrough began aged 7 in 2017.
First Photo Shoot
Their neighbor had a pop-up boutique store and was desperately seeking child models; so Jacqui intervened as the photographer, using an old camera, marking the girls’ first shoot. The neighbor received promotional material for her store, and the girls had the beginnings of a portfolio.
Agency Buzz
Jacqui sent the photos to an array of agencies, which created quite the buzz. Everyone wanted to meet the girls.
It Takes Two
It was a tough decision for Jacqui to choose with which agency they girls should go. In the end, she chose two agencies- one in Los Angeles, and one in Orange Country. Different locations shouldn’t impose clashes she thought, and it would mean more exposure for girls.
Clash
It didn’t take long until the clash of agencies became clear. One agency secured the twins a Barbie campaign casting; a few days later, so did the other.
Honesty is the Best Policy
Honest Jacqui confessed to each agency she was with the other, and stressed she wanted to maintain a good rapport with both, achieving the most exposure for her girls. It took some convincing, but in the end, they all came to a two-agency agreement for the two twins.
After a few, small agency successes, Jacqui decided to open the twins an Instagram account- The Clements Twins. Within three months, the beautiful girls had already accrued 1,000 followers, quickly tripling to 3,000.
Professional Photos
Take note. The quality of photos on Instagram is crucial to its audience. Jacqui saw Ava Marie and Leah Rose’s popularity rocket after their professional photos were posted. Their followers expanded from 3,000 to 15,000 in just a week! Insert more professional shoots later, and this figure was at 25,000.
Reposts
The identical twins were a huge hit on Instagram with many accounts reposting their photos, some with over 9 million followers.
The Best Things come in Pairs
The fact that the girls were identical twins was a huge boost for their following. Usually their Instagram photos were of them both together… The best things come in pairs they say. Besides, the girls felt comfortable posing together.
Weekend Photoshoots
As well as hiring a professional photographer, Jacqui also photographs the twins on the weekends, if the weather is nice. The boutique shop of the neighbor provides the girls with beautiful outfits, and they do a great business/photo exchange.
Tricks of the Trade
Jacqui uses tricks of the trade to make the shoots look like they were taken over many photo sessions. This could be changing make up or hair styles delivering a different look.
Compliments and Followers
Instagram couldn’t comprehend Ava Marie and Leah Rose’s identical beauty. They received many followers and compliments such as, “absolutely stunning”, “really truly gorgeous girls”, and “so beautiful”.
Contracts Keep Coming
Instagram not only brought the beautiful girls fame, but it also helped to secure them with brand and company contracts. It was only a few months after their start on Instagram that Mini-Magazine and Kids Fashion Magazine contacted them.
December Demand
The Clements Twins were in huge demand; and in December, they had six photoshoots in a week; proving the success was all theirs.
Light up the Room
The twins are super friendly and outgoing, and love meeting new people. At auditions, they light up the room, connecting with both adults and kids.
Runway Walk
The girls are set to take the runway by storm too, after rocking their debut on February 2018.
Solo Shoot
Even though the girls usually work together, occasionally one will have a solo shoot. In September 2017, Leah Rose made the front cover of Lakeshore- a kids’ magazine, without her twin sister.
Best of Friends
Ever since birth, Ava Marie and Leah Rose have always been together, whether it be at home, after school activities, or shooting commercials. However, it doesn’t pose a problem for them, for they are the best of friends.
Road Trips
Sometimes traveling to auditions, Ava Marie and Leah Rose can spend a lot of time in the car. They love to create playlists for each road trip, and sing-along all-the-way.
Haters
Although it is impossible to believe, but sometimes the girls receive negative comments from haters. These comments differ in their context, but most often, don’t make any sense.
Happy Girls
Amongst the haters are comments that the girls seem unhappy. However, this is the concept of the photoshoot, or the request of the photographer.
Minimal Make-Up
Other haters claim the girls wear a lot of make-up, when in fact they were very minimal amounts- a little bit of blush, lip gloss and hair styled, and that’s it.
Missing out
People claim because of their modeling careers, Ava Marie and Leah Rose are missing out on their childhood. Jacqui, their mom, states otherwise, insisting the girls go to school, play with their friends, dance, swim, modeling is just one part of their lives.
They Love It
Most importantly, the twins love modeling. Each new job brings a new experience, a new adventure, and often a new accessory or product to take home with them.

Their older brother, Chase Robert has also been signed to their agency.

As well as managing their Instagram accounts, Jacqui also runs a blog for the girls, sharing adventurous insights and exposing problems into the modeling world.

Family Trips
Now with all the Clements children modeling, the family take the road trips together, accompanying Leah Rose, Ava Marie and Chase Robert to their castings and shootings.
Swim Coach Dad
The twins inherited their love of swimming from their father Kevin, a former U.S national swimmer, who now coaches at LSU and USC, Maryland.
Lucci the Dog
Since September 2017, there was a new addition to the Clements family- Lucci the dog, to whom the twins rush to every day after school.
The Girls Decide
